Hello everyone!

Summer is coming to an end and autumn is setting in and so I think it’s a perfect time to ponder on upcoming trends. Personally I love autumn and all the beautiful colours that come with it. It is one of my favourite seasons so it’s time to bring out the blankets, fairy lights and scented candles. (more on that in another post soon)

One of the things I notice the most is that the ultra-matte look seems to be and going on a hiatus. Shimmer, shine and glow seem to be coming back and coming back strong for the winter. So say goodbye to the matte lipsticks and matte contour and welcome back highlighters, baked blushes and shiny lips. These are predicted to be THE hottest trends for this fall and I’m excited!

Berry Lips
Darker shades in all kinds of delicious berry tones come knocking as the autumn comes rolling in. From subtle raspberry tones to statement dark cherry, everything goes. But for this fall velvet shine is all the rage. What describes the look best is 90’s without the lip liner. So pigmented glosses and glossy lipsticks and have some fun with it. Personally I love the lip pencils from Maybelline and the darker shades in Rouge in Love by Lancôme. They will be my go to lipsticks this fall.

Cut Crease
Cut crease has slowly been gaining popularity and we will see it a lot in the winter season. It just looks really good and is a lot of fun to do. To demonstrate  cut crease I’m linking to a you tuber and blogger that shows the technique very well. So start practicing!

Metallic Shadows
Yes finally a look I love and have loved for so long! Metallic lids! Silver, gold, bronze and copper shadows are coming in strong. Whether they’re creamy or powders, metallic will pop the look considerably. They are so versatile and fun. And for once there is a trend that is so super easy since it’s one colour over the whole lid and go so well with cut crease. My personal favourite are the creamy color tattoo from Maybelline . I’ll get better into that in my summer favourites soon enough.

Halló allir!

Sumarið er að líða undir lok og haustið er byrjað að láta sjá sig og mér finnst það fullkominn tími til að reyna að spá fyrir sum haust tískuna. Persónulega elska ég haustið og litadýrðina sem fylgir. Þetta er ein af mínum uppáhalds árstíðum og núna er komin tími til að draga fram teppin, ljósaseríurnar og ilmkertin. (meira um það í pistli bráðlega)

Eitt af því sem hefur verið áberandi undanfarið er þetta matta útlit en það ætlar loksins í pásu. Shimmer, glansandi og gljándi húð er það sem verður inn í haust. Það er komin tími til að kveðja matta contour kittið og matta varalitinn og taka fagnandi á móti bökuðum kinnalit, highlighter og glansandi varaglossum. Hérna kemur mín spá um ALLRA heitustu förðunar nýjungarnar í haust.

Berjalitaðar Varir
Dökkir litir í allskonar girnilegum berjatónum verða mjög áberandi þegar haustið rúllar inn. Frá lítið áberandi hindberjatónum yfir í djarfa dökka kirsuberja, allt gengur. En núna í haust verður þetta aðeins öðruvísi að því leyti að glansandi berjatónar eru vinsælastir. Besta leiðin til að lýsa því er 90‘s varir án varablýantsins. Pigmentuð gloss og glansandi varalitir eru málið og um að gera að prufa eitthvað nýtt og skemmta sér!

Cut Crease
Þessi tegund af skyggingu hefur hægt og rólega verið að koma sér upp auknum vinsældum og verður mjög áberandi í haust og vetur. Sérstalega þegar jólahlaðborðin og árshátíðarnar fara að koma. Málmlitaðir Augnskuggar
Já loksins trend sem ég elska og hef elskað svo lengi! Málmlituð augnlok! Silfur, gull, brons og kopar er klárlega málið og koma sterkt inn í haust. Hvort sem þeir eru kremaðir eða duftskuggar þá munu þeir bæta miklu við heildar útlitið. Þeir eru fjölbreyttir og gaman að blanda þeim við allskonar tóna og þeir fara rosalega vel með cut crease. Mínir uppáhalds málm-skuggar eru kremuðu color tattoo frá maybelline. En nánar um það bráðlega.

Ég er mjög spennt yfir haustinu og öllu sem því fylgir og það er von á nokkrum pistlum frá mér á næstunni svo sem “uppáhalds sumarvörur”, “bestu hlutirnir við haustið” og fleira 🙂
