Skin perfection! No need for foundation anymore?

Today i want to introduce you to something special. It’s advertised as a moisturizer but to me this product is so much more. L’Oréal’s SkinPerfection beautifying day cream. Now the first thing that caught my eye was the packaging. It’s so pretty and bright in neon pink and orange ombre tube with a metalic pink cap. I have to admit that I did no research on this before I bought it. It just looked really cool so I thought I’d give it a chance, since L’Oréal hasn’t let me down. I was on my way to work and I was running a bit late so I didn’t have any makeup on so i grabbed it with me. I tried it as soon as I got to work (wasn‘t late after all) and I have never tried anything like it.

Lash Sensation! The new mascara from Maybelline

Hello everyone.

Today I’d like to talk about the new mascara , Lash Sensational from Maybelline. I’ve been trying this one out for a few weeks and I really like it. The formula is thin and lightweight and very build-able The wand itself has silicone comb bristles, long on one side and they grow shorter on the other side and the brush is slightly bent. This gives the wand the ability to comb each eyelash separately, the result is amazing.

Now while the wand is exceptional it takes some getting used to. I was very clumsy when I was applying it for the first couple of times. This mascara does lengthen the lashes and separates them extremely well and I think it gives a lot of volume. When I’ve been using this product I only need 1 coat which is super quick and nice. The new craze.. Mary Lou-Manizer, review

I know I haven’t written anything in a while and the reason for it is simply that I really needed a break and haven‘t felt inspired at all. I’ve had some kind of inspiration block for weeks now. I have started many blog posts and all kinds of DIY projects but somehow I’m never able to finish. But now I feel the inspiration coming back and I hope to be posting a lot more frequently and publishing the posts I’ve started on.

Today I want to talk about a new product, The Mary Lou-manizer from The Balm. It has taken the country by storm. At first I thought this was one of those super hyped products that couldn’t hold up when it came down to it. Then I decided to just go for it and try it out. I’ve been testing it now for about 3 weeks and I have come to realize that this product is not hyped up, it’s just really good. All the products from The Balm come in a 50’s styled packaging with a sassy name which is completely unique. And that goes for the Mary Lou-manizer as well. It comes in a really cute silver compact with supposedly Mary Lou on the cover.

The new Maybelline intense velvet lip pencils. I’m very picky when it comes to lip products, one of the most important things I go for when I’m picking out a new lipstick or gloss is how long they stay on looking beautiful. So I first heard of these last autumn and got really excited to try them out. As the name gives away they have intense color and a velvet look and feel on the lips. DIY Photo Heart Collage

Perfect Polish

I want to talk about hand and nail care! Personally I think you can tell a lot about a person by the way their hands look. Usually you won’t find me with naked nails. I always wear nail polish and it really depends on the season what colour range I go for. At the moment I’m longing for warm summer days. In the summer you can pull off wearing the whole range of colours and glitters. The thing about nail polishes is that they chip up way to quick and if you are like me it’s impossible to have cracks or half chipped nail polish. If I wear just plain old polish it lasts about 2-3 days until it cracks up, even with base and top coats.
So I started a hunt for the ultimate nail polish that lasts and doesn’t chip off. For a while I thought it would be impossible and tried brand after brand and it was always the same story. Then I discovered Gel nail polish. I went for a manicure at the local beauty parlour. They offered a free try for the Alessandro Gel Lac. So I thought to myself, why not try it? It’s amazing!
